Background and Training
A graduate of The Ohio State University College of Medicine, Dr. Hooley completed his residency training at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. He is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine. In 1993, Dr. Hooley completed AVSC (Association for Voluntary Surgical Contraception) training in No Scalpel Vasectomy, then spent additional time with Dr. Ron Reynolds of Cincinnati, the developer of the tissue interposition technique.

Dr. Hooley has been providing No Scalpel Vasectomy in Bellefontaine, Ohio, since 1993. Although located in rural western Ohio, the practice attracts patients from throughout West Central Ohio. As a volunteer faculty member of the rural track family practice residency program of Ohio State, he also is involved in training residents in No Scalpel Vasectomy.
